GOSHEN, N.Y. — An 18-year-old man has been accused of having sex with horses at an upstate New York harness track.

Erick Rivera is charged with five counts each of sexual misconduct with an animal and burglary after an investigation at the Goshen Historic Track in Orange County.

Goshen Village Police Chief James Watt says Rivera sneaked into the track at night from his nearby rented room and abused the animals. Horsemen became suspicious starting in July when they found the standardbreds bridled and immobilized in their stalls during morning checks.

Watt says Friday a surveillance camera recorded the unemployed Rivera in a barn.

He’s being held in the county jail on $15,000 bail. Police say they don’t know if he has a lawyer. The track is about 50 miles northwest of New York City.

  1. Loved to view your internet site. I would like to recommend you that traffic show most people view blogs on Mondays. So it should certainly encourage bloggers to compose new write ups more than the weekend primarily.

Wendall is a male, tricolor terrier mix puppy that was found running through traffic on Main Street in downtown North Little Rock.

Had he not been picked up, his outcome would not have been so happy. He is about 3 months old.

He resides with 3 cats and 2 dogs. He tries to be the "big" dog but is really a scaredy cat. He is very well-behaved for a puppy but does love to run around and play with others. He loves to nap in a lap and sleeps in a crate at night.

He is in potty training. He does great in a secure fence with other dogs around. He is very loyal, is learning to walk on a leash and is always a couple steps behind you.

He looks like the dog in the movie "Because of Winn Dixie." The dog is a Picardy Shepard, so Wendall may be a a rare, little street treasure.

He is up-to-date on shots and will be neutered.
